I've been dead. There's no other way to describe my state of being these past few months, so I haven't had much time to be online (especially Livejournal). BUT! That means I have all sorts of texture goodies to post! The second batch includes 10 large textures~

I haven't been able to post since the summer and I have so many things backed up and so many projects in the making! School can be such a drag, as I'm sure everyone knows. Well, I was able to get a couple of things done over the weekend, and just figured to post them here! Enjoy & please click the tabs to view them larger~

Thank you to all who've voted for my pieces in any contest I've entered; I greatly appreciate it. And congratulations to everyone else, as well.

I haven't updated in so long, and I have a ton of icon bases just waiting to be finished. So, in the meantime, I've decided to make some textures to share with everyone!

Alrighty, here's to finding a brand-shiny new Photoshop! I'm actually very excited, because I was able to upgrade to PSCS3 from my old PS7. Now that the computer is back and running (even though that didn't really matter, I wound up installing CS3 to my laptop instead) I have all the power in the world to make graphics for everyone. But I figured that since I had a new program, I should have a new icon community, as well! So, here it is. I have a new sort of goal for this community, and that's more textures, stock photos, and banners for all you lovelies. Well, I hope you enjoy the icons!

HOW TO:

So, let's say you're new to the world of icons and creditting, and want to know what the hell you're supposed to do now that you've seen this site. So below, I've created step-by-step guide on what exactly you do.

First, you're going to follow this link and watch the community-which is also located on the left sidebar.
After that, you can click on rebellisk at the top of the page, and return back to the main page.
So now you have access to the icons and the posts, which means you can choose any icons you like and use them on your journal.
So you scroll through the page and find one you like, for example- this one:
You're going to right click it and select 'save picture as'. (screenshot)
Continue to save your icon to a folder you'll remember and then select 'ok' or 'save' depending on what type of computer you have.
After you've saved, be sure to comment the icon post that you took it from! I cannot stress that enough.
+Click 'leave a comment' and just give me a short little note saying which icon you took, and yaddah yaddah yaddah.
Once you've finished with that, you can upload your new icon to your lj account over here.
Now, your icon should appear at the bottom of the page so scroll down and find it.
Next to the icon there are a couple of bars, correct? One for 'keyword' and one for 'comment'. (screenshot)
In 'keyword' you can put whatever you'd like, it will be the text that appears when you go to choose an icon.
In 'comment' you're going to put the credit for this community.
+Type in the following:
Your finished credit should look like this:
Click 'save settings' and enjoy your icon!

If you have any questions about the community or something I've mentioned in a post, please visit this post.
